Terms
Terms of service
These are the rules for using Superfact. We have tried to write them in the same voice we speak in, but they are still a contract. Read them before you sign up.

01 · The short version
- +You own what you publish. We host it, render it, and serve it at a URL on superfact.ai or your custom domain.
- +You are responsible for what your agent decides to publish from your account, and for having the right to share it.
- +Superfact is free during preview. We will publish pricing terms before paid plans launch and give existing accounts at least 30 days of notice.
- +Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the last twelve months (zero during the free preview).
- +Swiss law governs this agreement. Disputes go to the courts of the Canton of Zürich.
02 · Who this is between
Superfact is operated by Metascend GmbH, a Swiss company registered in the Canton of Zürich (UID CHE-195.997.652). In these terms, "we", "us", and "Superfact" mean Metascend GmbH. "You" means the person or organization that signs up for an account.
By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you are using Superfact on behalf of an employer or client, you confirm that you have the authority to bind them.
03 · The service
Superfact is an MCP server and renderer for AI chats. You connect a supported LLM client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and others) to the Superfact MCP server. From inside any chat, you can ask the agent to publish a structured artifact. The agent calls our publish tool with a JSON payload that matches one of our templates, and we render it at a public URL. Feature set, templates, limits, and pricing can change. Breaking changes to paid features will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
04 · Your account
- +You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
- +You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account, including MCP tool calls made by any agent you connect.
- +Notify us at hey@superfact.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
05 · What you publish
Publishing happens through the MCP publish tool from inside your chat. You are the producer of every artifact published from your account. That means you are responsible for:
- +Having the right to share what you publish, including quoted text, screenshots, third-party content, or anything originally written by someone else.
- +Reviewing what your agent puts in the payload before you share the URL. The agent is a tool; you are the author.
- +Choosing the right visibility (public, password-protected, or private) for the content.
- +Removing or restricting any publish that contains personal data of someone who has not agreed to its publication.
We act as your processor for the artifact payloads we receive. Our processor obligations are set out in our privacy policy and, for Pro customers, in a separate Data Processing Agreement available on request.
06 · Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- +Publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that promotes violence, hate, or illegal activity.
- +Publish other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
- +Use Superfact to circumvent or violate the terms of service of any LLM provider you connect.
- +Reverse engineer the MCP server, scrape the renderer, or try to access other accounts or publishes you do not own.
- +Circumvent rate limits, resell access to the publish tool, or run automated traffic that degrades the service for others.
- +Use Superfact to build a competing product, or use its outputs to train another AI model.
We can take down individual publishes that violate this section. Where the breach is serious or systematic, we may suspend or terminate the account, in serious cases without notice.
07 · Your content
You own the structured artifacts you publish and the configuration you create (templates, brand settings, custom domain). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, render, generate preview images for, and serve that content solely to provide the service to you and to the viewers you share with.
We do not use your publishes to train AI models. Our model subprocessors are contracted on zero-retention or training-excluded terms. Aggregate, de-identified metrics (total publishes, uptime, latency) may be used to operate and improve the service.
08 · AI outputs
The agent in your chat does the writing. Superfact receives the structured JSON the agent passes to the publish tool and renders it. We do not modify the words in your publish. Outputs produced by large language models are best-effort and can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing what the agent published before you share the link, and for not using AI-generated content as the sole basis for decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on people (hiring, lending, housing, healthcare).
09 · Plans and billing
Superfact is free during the preview period. We will publish pricing terms before paid plans launch and give existing account holders at least 30 days of notice by email. Billing, when introduced, will be handled by Stripe and managed through the Stripe Customer Portal from your account settings.
10 · Termination
You can close your account at any time from settings. We can suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination we delete your data within 90 days, except where longer retention is legally required (see the privacy policy).
11 · Service availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party outages, and incidents happen. Pro customers (when paid plans launch) will get priority email support at hey@superfact.ai with a one business day response target. Free accounts get best-effort support.
12 · Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Superfact is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing.
13 · Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability under these terms is capped at the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim (which is zero during the free preview period). These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under Swiss law (including gross negligence and willful misconduct).
14 · Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against claims brought by a viewer or third party arising out of what you publish, your account, or your breach of these terms, including where you shared content you did not have the right to share or that contained personal data of someone who had not agreed to its publication.
15 · Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information with the same care it uses for its own (no less than reasonable care) and use it only to perform this agreement. This does not apply to information that becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, or that the receiving party already had, or must disclose under law.
16 · Changes to these terms
We can update these terms. When changes are material we will email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them you can close your account before the effective date.
17 · Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Swiss substantive law, excluding its conflict of law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes is the ordinary courts of the Canton of Zürich, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer protection law where applicable.
18 · Miscellaneous
- +If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms stay in effect.
- +Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
- +You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- +These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
